Strategi Menulis Karangan
Ada lima langkah penting yang perlu anda ikut apabila menulis karangan.

- Memilih tajuk yang tepat
- Mencari kunci tajuk
- Menyediakan rangka karangan
- Menulis karangan
- Menyunting atau menyemak karangan.
Memilih Tajuk yang Tepat
- Sesuai dengan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan keupayaan anda menghuraikannya atau mengembangkannya sehingga menjadi karangan yang cukup isinya.
- Faham akan kehendak tajuk.
- Berupaya menghuraikannya atau mengembangkannya.
- Pilih tajuk yang benar-benar anda kuasai supaya karangan yang anda tulis itu tepat, padat, dan bernas.
- Fahami format dan laras bahasa karangan yang hendak anda tulis.
Mencari Kunci Tajuk
- Antara kata atau rangkai kata yang mungkin menjadi kunci tajuk termasuklah kata atau rangkai kata seperti bincangkan, gambarkan, cadangkan, tulislah, andaikan, nyatakan pendapat anda, dan sebagainya.
- Selepas memahami kunci tajuk, rancanglah rangka karangan anda supaya sesuai dengan kehendak soalan.
Menyediakan Rangka Karangan
- Rangka karangan penting supaya anda tidak lupa akan fakta-fakta atau isi-isi penting yang hendak anda huraikan.
- Dengan merujuk kepada rangka isi karangan, anda akan dapat menulis karangan secara tersusun dan tidak menyimpang daripada kehendak tajuk atau soalan.
- Rangka karangan hendaklah ringkas dan sebaik-baiknya ditulis dalam bentuk isi-isi penting.
- Rangka karangan anda mestilah terdiri daripada
- Pendahuluan
- Isi-isi penting
- Penutup
Menulis Karangan
- Pada umumnya ada dua aspek utama yang dinilai pada karangan anda, iaitu aspek isi dan aspek bahasa.
- Aspek isi dinilai dengan berdasarkan perkara-perkara berikut:
- pertalian antara isi-isi dengan tajuk. Isi yang dipilih mestilah berkaitan dengan tajuk yang dipilih.
- kematangan fikiran anda menghuraikan dan memberi contoh yang berkaitan dengan tajuk yang dipilih.
- Isi-isi perlu disusun secara tertib.
- Aspek-aspek bahasa pula dinilai dengan berdasarkan perkara-perkara berikut:
- penggunaan tatabahasa
- ejaan
- penggunaan tanda baca
- pembahagian perenggan
- pemilihan kata yang tepat.
Pendahuluan
- Pendahuluan hendaklah ditulis dalam satu perenggan sahaja dengan menyentuh sesuatu perkara yang ada kaitannya dengan tajuk karangan secara umum.
- Pendahuluan yang baik ialah yang dapat menarik minat pembaca serta mendorongnya untuk terus membaca.
Pembinaan Perenggan
- Sebaik-baiknya satu perenggan harus berisi satu isi penting sahaja. Isi penting ini pula mestilah disertai isi-isi sampingan sebagai huraian lanjut kepada isi penting dan disertai contoh-contoh pula. (Isi Penting----ïƒ Huraian Lanjut ----ïƒ Contoh)
- Huraian lanjut merupakan keterangan atau penjelasan sama ada maklumat tambahan, bahasan, ulasan, dan sokongan tentang isi penting.
Penjalinan Perenggan
- Karangan yang baik mestilah mempunyai hubungan antara perenggan pertama dengan perenggan-perenggan yang lain.
- Untuk memperlihatkan perkaitan antara isi, gunakan penanda wacana seperti namun demikian, walau bagaimanapun, sebaliknya, tambahan pula, dan sebagainya.
Penutup Karangan
- Penutup karangan adalah kesimpulan karangan anda di samping dapat membayangkan pendirian anda tentang tajuk.
- Kesimpulan dalam perenggan penutup mestilah lebih umum dan padat.
Menyemak Karangan
- Tentukan agar isi-isi penting tidak tertinggal.
- Tambahkan contoh jika perlu.
- Semak aspek bahasa, ejaan, tanda baca, dan tatabahasa.
- Semak jumlah kata dalam karangan anda.
Contoh : Belakangan ini stesen-stesen televisyen di negara kita banyak menyiarkan rancangan hiburan yang tidak mendorong perkembangan minda golongan remaja. Anda ingin memperkatakan hal tersebut serta nyatakan beberapa contoh rancangan yang anda maksudkan itu dan kemukakan alasan kritikan serta cadangan anda itu.
Pendahuluan
Televisyen merupakan media yang kuat pengaruhnya kepada penonton terutamanya golongan remaja. Terdapat beberapa rancangan yang kurang sesuai untuk mereka.
Isi-isi
Kesan rancangan hiburan
- mendedahkan budaya barat yang bertentangan dengan budaya timur. Remaja terpengaruh oleh cara-cara berpakaian, pertuturan dan sebagainya. Beri contoh
- Pemaparan unsur seks dan keganasan yang berlebihan. Mendorong remaja melakukan perbuatan yang tidak bermoral. Melakukan jenayah dan merebak penyakit sosial. Beri contoh
- Saranan rancangan yang sesuai.
- Rancangan yang berunsur keagamaan dan menekan nilai moral
- Rancangan yang memberi pengetahuan dalam bidang sains dan teknologi
- Rancangan yang berupaya meningkatkan kemahiran berfikir remaja.
- Rancangan yang menampilkan kerjaya tokoh-tokoh yang mengutamakan nilai-nilai ketimuran.
Penutup
Televisyen mestilah menjadi ciptaan sains dan teknologi yang berupaya melahirkan manusia yang lebih berkualiti, bukan yang rosak akhlaknya.
